Wicklow Outdoor Recreation Strategy.

hillwalking and many more outdoor activities are being developed within wicklowWicklow Rural Partnership is leading a partnership project to prepare an Outdoor Recreation Strategy for Co. Wicklow.

The strategy aims to provide a framework for the future development and management of outdoor recreation activities within the county.

project by completing the online recreation survey linked from this page.
A separate questionnaire has been sent to community groups in Co. Wicklow seeking information on outdoor recreation in their area and ideas for future development..

A public workshop to discuss the strategy will be held in the Glendalough Hotel at 8pm on Wednesday 7th May 2008. The finished strategy will be available in Autumn 2008.
